Open Container Law for Limousines

by airforce1limo 10/2/2009 1:54:00 AM

I was wondering if limousines had to abide by the “Open Container Laws”, since they all seem to offer a bar in the back. Basically all passengers in a limousine are exempt from the law, while the driver is not. The driver of the vehicle must be separated from the liquor, of course. The conditions of this law apply to California and many other states.

If you are unsure about your state, do some research on the topic.

This is by no means legal advice, so check it out with your Limousine company and your local and state laws. This is where I found the rules broken down into something readable.
