Rent a Limousine for a Funeral Service.

by airforce1limo 10/29/2009 12:16:00 AM

Though it will be a sad time for everyone involved, a limousine can be a useful tool at this unfortunate event. A funeral can be a busy event; everyone is thinking about how they are going to get to the service, the burial site, and even the reception. Parking is always an issue, so adding a limousine to the equation can release some stress on the amount of parking spaces need.

It will also relieve the stress of having to worry about driving yourself or your family during your time of grieving. Keep everyone together and on time to all stages of the event. Cemeteries often have little parking space or even space to drive in. So a limo will save you the headache of trying to maneuver around a small cramped cemetery parking lot. Usually limousines can drive right up to the gravesite if there are roads throughout the cemetery.

Check with the car companies you rent the hearse from to see what limousines they offer and if there are any special rates. If you purchase everything from the funeral home, see what limousine services they are connected to. Though it may be a difficult time to conduct business, try to find out about different services. You want to make sure you get the best deal you possibly can.

Should Limo Renters get a discount for being given a themed limousine?

by airforce1limo 10/26/2009 8:27:00 PM

My sister’s friend recently had a birthday party and her family rented a limousine. When the limousine arrived it had some purple and gold interior and some same colored paint on the outside. It was obviously themed for the Lakers basketball team. I don’t think they had a problem with it. But it might annoy me, unless I was getting a discount for doing some free advertising. I’m sure the company might get some kick back out of it. So I would hope that they would pass the savings on to me. I would also want to know in advance, if the company I hired was planning on sending me a themed limousine. So at least I could refuse, or say fine if it was a theme I would like. If I rented a limo, I would want it to stay a classy event. No corporate logos, sports team logos, and so on, unless the logo was for the limo company itself. Then I would probably have to endure it.

by airforce1limo 10/22/2009 10:16:00 PM

A bachelorette party is supposed to be a fun low stress event for all of those involved. We know this isn’t always the case. There is always the concern of where to go, what to do, and how is everyone going to get there. Your best method for mass transport is to hire a limousine for your bachelorette party.

With a limo there is no need to worry about how everyone is going to get to the event. Just a rent a limo accordingly to the number of guest expected. Or if you want to have a lot of space, order a big SUV limo or party bus. Just arrange a meeting place and time for everyone. Having the activities already planned out will help to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Research different companies as some have special party packages that include front of the line passes for dance clubs and bars.

No one will need to worry about having to park or being a designated driver. All members of your party will be free to have a good time. Whether you are getting a limousine to go to an event or having the limousine is the event, you are bound to have fun. You limo company may have a bar, but you will probably have to work out what it will have with the company owners. Or stock it yourselves, if the limo company allows you to.

The party is about the bride to be, so keep her the center of attention. What better way to surprise her than with a limousine ride.

8.)    The chauffeur is there to assist you in and out of the vehicle, so let them.

How much should you tip your limo driver?

by airforce1limo 10/19/2009 11:42:00 PM

Tipping is always a nice way to thank your service workers. A limousine driver is no different. But the question always comes to “How much should I give?” Some say tip

your driver 15 to 20 percent like your restaurant waiter or waitress. If you have a big crowd in the limo, a tip may already be worked into your bill. If that is the case, you probably don’t want to tip anymore. Unless the driver is truly exceptional and does some extra request that you may have.

In most events you like to tip for good service. If you’re driver is nice, courteous, prompt, and gets you safely to your destinations, kindly reward them. You should always pool a few bucks from all of the limousine passengers. As always, do what you feel is right. Unless it is automatically included in your bill, tipping should be done at your discretion.

Questions to ask before reserving a Limousine

Before renting a limousine it is always advisable to ask the company any questions you may have about their service. You want to do your best to make sure that there are no surprises on the way.

I found a great article going over some of the general questions and details to know about your potential limousine service. The author is the owner of Limousine service in Missouri.

His article finally answered my question about “What doe the Limo Bar contain?”

You will probably have to supply your own alcohol, as the limo company only supplies the glassware they keep mentioning and maybe some soda and drink mixes.

What to ask before reserving your limo.
